Founder

Drew Keske —
impact operator.

A land-stewardship practitioner in San Diego, building two concepts at the intersection of craft beer, community, and values-driven entrepreneurship.

Background

The path here

Years inside mission-driven organizations. A home brewer's attention to recipe and process. A serious practice around land stewardship and coastal ecosystems in San Diego. The two concepts on this site — Kegs for a Cause and LiveSwell Brewing — are what happens when those threads meet a hospitality category that has not figured out either community or sustainability at scale.

Why these projects

Both concepts run on the same conviction: doing good and having a great time are the same thing. Kegs for a Cause proves that at the event level in the near term. LiveSwell carries it into the product itself.

Operating framework

The impact operator

An impact operator runs a thing — payroll, permits, vendors, the 6am Saturday — while keeping the mission load-bearing. Not a nonprofit director, not a founder who treats impact as marketing. Both at once.

Practically, that means: build it like a business so it survives, measure it like a charity so the impact is real, and document everything so a successor can take it over.
